Slavery vs. Holocaust
So I’m riding the train with one of my white male co-workers and he insisted on telling me why the holocaust was worse then slavery. Dude, I’m a black woman who is still experiencing the effects of 400 years of oppression. I can’t agree with you.

I saw a rainbow today
for the first time in about a year. A man on the street pointed it out and said that’s Gods work. I would have never looked up at the sky because my attention was focused on my cell phone. I thanked him for reminding me to take in the beauty of what’s around me more often.
